Miscellaneous vehicles (Reference Material) Some members felt the need for a section where pictures and information about various full size horse drawn vehicles and related machinery could be posted. Well, here is that section! Ploughs, rakes and manure spreaders; Sleighs, buggies, ice wagons, cannons and medieval siege machines etc, can be included here. ~~jraah~~

Tom, hello there. I don't know about the harvester, but the Brush Waggon is listed in plans sold by HOBBY'S. According to their list it is JT48A 1/8 scale and about £14.00. Check their website. I don't know if they still have it.
Just checked their website, they still do it but the cost is £16.55.

Paul.

I helped restore a McKay stripper harvester in 1987... a lot of work... then I signwrote it, and later got 4 clydesdales going and we harvested an acre of millet.

However 'plans' of it would be dead scarce! I've never come across any, but I do have some instruction manuals I've collected over the years...

The only place I can suggest for plans, Tom, MIGHT be the Aussie patents office.
That model stripper harvester was patented in 1912, with additions in 1914, from memory
The info was on the casting at the footplate or toolbox lid.

Otherwise, it's a case of 'grab a tapemeasure, a camera, and create your own plans!'

Go for the tape measure and camera. It is a lot more fun and accurate that way.
